Church Logo Design – A whole different ballgame!

Seriously. Designing a logo for a church is a whole different ballgame when you compare it with designing logo for corporate houses or for businesses. While business logos require that the fundamentals of the business house be reflected in the logo they choose so that the customers are impressed, church logo design is not meant to impress.

No church will say that they require an ‘impressive’ logo. Church logo design works on a whole different set of priorities – like

• Faith
• Passion
• Integrity
• Truth
• Community living, and so on

So while getting a church logo design done, you need to approach the work table with a different perspective. Since there are different kinds of churches and different kinds of ministries, the requirements of each client also would be entirely different.

There could be a church that is focused on service – the primary existence of the organization is to serve, and while doing that church logo design, it is service that should shine through. There could be a church whose primary priority is gospel; and that is what should show up in the logo of that church. And then there are organizations which are exclusively targeted towards youngsters and even children. The color combination and graphics used in those logos would need to be different again, as the audience is totally different.

So what you need is a real expert company that has done a lot of church logo design, which understands all these factors and puts them together beautifully, without looking obtrusive!
